DSA PRE MATCH HOSPITALITY - DUNDEE V DUNFERMLINE

Dundee Supporters Association present the return of Bobby Brady for pre-match entertainment on Saturday 3rd January 2009 in Stobswell Sports & Recreation Club, 5 Raglan St, Dundee from 11am to 2.30pm. Tickets are priced at £5 each (children free).

CAPITAL DARK BLUES BURNS SUPPER

By popular demand, the social event of the year in Scotland's capital is here!! The Capital Dark Blues Burns Supper is back! Similar to Dens, there have been a couple of changes. This year we are giving a Saturday evening a go and we have a new venue so get your tickets reserved now. We are away to Airdrie that day so a night out in Auld Reekie to celebrate and a long Sunday to recover is perfect. Last year's event was our best ever and we were joined by Paul "dancing feet" McHale and Eddie "the Huntly Slayer" Malone.

Time : 7 for 7.30
Location : Willowbrae Bowling Club, just past Meadowbank / Jock's Lodge, EH8 7EP
Tickets : £25 (a £5 credit crunch reduction!) - soup, haggis, neeps and tatties, cheese and biccies plus coffee, speakers, speeches and stuff and nonsense. Bargain !!

The evening's line-up will be the usual stunning affair including a high class raffle, "interesting" auction items, our favourite haggis addressee, lots of laughs and as always one or two wee surprises!

DEES DOWN SOUTH

Burns Supper in London - Friday 30th Jan 2009

Dees Down South are holding their annual Burns Supper on Friday 30th January in The Crown Bar & Kitchen, 174 Richmond Road, Twickenham. Thanks again go to mine host and DDS member Scott Carnegie, who will ensure there's haggis and drink aplenty. Tickets are £10, and all members and guests are welcome.

PLAYER OF THE YEAR DINNER

The Dundee FC Player of the year dinner will be held on Sunday 10th May 2009. This will again be held in the Hilton Hotel, Earl Grey Place, Dundee. Prices, menus and other details will be posted here soon.

Support the Club - Pre & Post Match Hospitality

As advised on numerous occasions, the Penman Lounge has Setanta sports available on the big screen and the provision of pre and post Saturday match hospitality. This was achieved through investment from the club along with investment from others.

We are asking you to fully support this venture as, not only have DSA invested club money, it also allows you to socialise with other clubs and to enjoy the comforts that the lounge provides.

FIFE DARK BLUES

The Fife Dark Blues had their race night on Friday December 12th, 2008. The hall was full as everybody showed their enthusiasm for the event

Thanks to all who attended, donated and participated in the inaugural event for the Fife Dark Blues Supporters Club. The general consensus for the evening was that it was a great success and a great sum of money was made. Once all monies have been received, all members will be notified of the amount and a donation will be made to the Youth Development Academy for Dundee FC, on behalf of the Supporters Club. Special thanks go to Dougie Horne, Neil Marshalsey and Lauren Stewart for their assistance on the evening and to Dave Stewart (the buffet man, not p**fy man, Lauren !!!! ), for the great buffet that he managed to produce for us.
